On May 2nd, 2024, at about 3:35 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of lower Chandler St for a report of an assault with a dangerous weapon. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down and located a male stabbing victim on the sidewalk. The first responding officer rendered medical aid and the victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Detectives arrived and began the follow-up investigation. This investigation is ongoing.
