The Providence Street Playground has been a city park since 2010. It features a new playground, which is split into two sections. One side is focused on younger kids, while the other side is geared toward older kids. It also contains Glodis Field, a multipurpose turf field named after the late State Rep. William J. Glodis.
Located adjacent to the Providence Street School is this recently renovated artificial turf multi-use athletic field. Glodis Field is constantly used by the neighborhood community as well as the school. Parking is available on the site and plenty of on-street parking is also available, except during school hours. Come by and try playing lacrosse, football, soccer or other field sports on this amazing play surface!
